    Hello everyone,

We are experiencing an issue with the Woodmart theme and the plugin YITH Product Add-Ons & Extra Options while working on a redesign of an existing e-commerce website. The site includes many customizable products, and this plugin is critical for handling those customizations.

    What We’ve Done So Far:
We set up a staging environment under the same domain, ensuring a clean migration process with proper SEO maintenance.
All data has been successfully migrated to the new database, and functionality is intact for non-customizable products.
During testing, we identified a conflict between the Woodmart theme and the YITH plugin on the product template page. The customization options do not work as intended, likely due to a script or function from the theme conflicting with the plugin.
    The Issue:
The customization options provided by the YITH plugin are either not displaying correctly or not functioning at all on the product pages. Since our store relies heavily on this plugin to manage customizations for around 200 products, each with over 20 customization options, switching to another plugin is not feasible.

    Question:
Has anyone encountered a similar issue or found a way to resolve compatibility problems between the Woodmart theme and YITH Product Add-Ons & Extra Options? Are there specific theme settings or adjustments we can make to resolve this conflict?

Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hello,

Thank you so much for purchasing our theme and contacting our support center.

Please try to disable custom layouts if used in WoodMart -> Layouts and test again.
If it doesn’t help, please send us a screenshot of how it works with default theme and WoodMart so we can see the difference.

    Kind Regards

    Hello,
Thank you for your response and support.

We tested the product page by disabling the custom layout as suggested, and while it does improve the functionality, this solution is not acceptable for us. We specifically purchased and continue to use the WoodMart theme for all our clients because of its ability to customize the product page, which is essential for our projects.

That said, even with the adjustments, we are still facing the following two issues (screenshots attached for reference):

    – Discount Percentage Misplacement: The discount percentage moves to an incorrect position, causing a visual inconsistency.
    – [Critical] Variant Selection Issue: When selecting a product variant, the theme automatically switches the product images to the secondary ones instead of maintaining the correct variant images.
We hope you can provide guidance or a fix to ensure the theme works seamlessly with the custom layouts and the YITH Product Add-Ons plugin.

    Looking forward to your assistance.

    Best regards

The first screenshot shows the incorrect positioning of the discount percentage.

The second screenshot demonstrates how the images change incorrectly after selecting a variant.

These issues occur even with the custom layout disabled.

    Hello,

It looks like the plugin adds its custom content using the standard WooCommerce hook. When you create a custom layout with Elementor it doesn’t contain any default elements and hooks. It contains only those elements that you added with Elementor manually.

We have a special “Hook” element in Elementor that you can place to your custom layout and then the plugin will be able to add its custom content there. But we don’t know which one exactly it needs. You can either try to select all hooks one by one or contact plugin developers for help.

    Kind Regards

If I provide you with access, can you check this for me? It is crucial; otherwise, our work is at risk of failing.

Sorry, but fixing issue like that are out of our theme support scope. You need to contact plugin’s developers for help on this matter.
