Hello, I am writing to you because I tried to implement the Google Tag Manager code as I normally do on my sites, but unfortunately it generates a conflict. In fact, if I insert the code I can no longer edit the pages via Elementor. If I try to delete the code from the header.php file everything works again.
    How can I solve it?

P.S. I am using the Pills demo

    Hello,

The Most Easy way is to add it using a free plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/insert-headers-and-footers/

If you want to edit the header.php file directly then you need to copy the header.php file from the main theme to the child theme and then try adding the code in it.

You can read the following article for further help:
    https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-add-header-and-footer-code-in-wordpress/

If you have faced any issue feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards.

Hi, I added the code by creating a copy of the header.php file in the child theme. I wrote this because I don’t want to use the plugin, but add the file manually.

    Hello,

Sorry but there is no option in Theme Settings available for that.

It requires customizations and this is beyond our limitations and support policy.

I tried to install the plugin you indicated, but when I insert the Google Tag Manager tracking code I continue to have problems. After implementing the code, I cannot edit the pages through Elementor.

    Hello,

Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like WooCommerce Storefront to understand if it is our theme issue or not?

    Best Regards.

We contacted the provider to understand if it is a problem on their part.

We also noticed that by eliminating the second part of the code (the one to be inserted after the <body> tag) the modification with Elementor works.

    Hello,

Thank you for the update. Since removing the second part of the code resolves the issue, it appears to be a conflict with the way the Google Tag Manager code interacts with Elementor.

    Best Regards.
