ivoltbgParticipantHello,
I would like to connect one simple product X with other Y. When I am inside the product X, I would like to see product Y and reversed too from Y to see X, like variations but not exactly. How can I achieve that?
Best regards, Nikola

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
You can use the Linked Products option under Product Data > Linked Products.
Edit Product X > Product Data > Linked Products > add Product Y as an Upsell.
Edit Product Y > add Product X the same way.
Please check this manual and configure it: https://woocommerce.com/document/related-products-up-sells-and-cross-sells/

ivoltbgParticipantWell, this option doesn’t work for me because this way I am declaring related products, i.e., products that are compatible with the respective item. Is there another way to easily create “variations”?

Can you please share some screenshots or examples of what you actually want, so I can further check and give you a possible solution?

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Glad that you found it!
The Linked Variations feature allows you to group separate simple products using a common attribute, rather than creating a variable product.
For example, you can have multiple iPhone Silicone cases (Black, Blue, Coral, Fuchsia) as separate products. When grouped via Linked Variations:
* Customers see swatch buttons like a variable product.
* Clicking a swatch redirects to the separate product page.Best Regards,

ivoltbgParticipantHello,
can be used more than 1 common attribute for this configuration?
Best regards, Nikola

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Yes, in Products → Linked Variations you can select one or multiple attributes. These attributes determine which products will be linked together.
