i have a question regarding performance. im using a child theme to restyle some elements in the theme. what is the best location regarding performance to place this content. in the woodmart settings there is a Costum CSS location. is this being minified and there fore better than placing it in a child theme CSS?
You need to use the Custom CSS inside the Theme Settings >> Custom CSS. If you want to turn ON/OFF the minified version then you can enable or disable it from Theme Settings >> Performance.
