Create custom Shop filter

Hi support,
I am wondering how i can create and manage custom Shop filters with a price range ($0-$15, $15-$30 etc), like in the attached pic.
I have read your documentation with no luck.
I have managed to create it through the parent theme (../wp-content/themes/woodmart/inc/widgets/class-widget-price-filter.php) but if I upgrade the theme, this will be lost.
Maybe I should use a plugin to create the filter and call it in the Widgets? If yes, which do you recommend that is fast and reliable?
