Create mega menu – struggling with the link towards product category

Hello,

I have seen the documentation and succeeded to create the mega menu but I don’t know how to add a link towards the product category.
I think I need to create for sure a new category but then how can I copy the link into the html block, like I did for the personnalized link ?

Hello,

Have a look at the right top corner and enable all in the Screen options.

Then you will find the Product categories in the left side of menu to add as you add pages, for example.

Okay, thank you, the product categories was already set.
Please, how can I do this : when a customer clicks on the 1st category, it leads to the category page and shows all the products in this category ?

It is already set like this.
I think I am not explaining correctly the issue : I’ve created an html block called “boutique naturelle” : I want it to lead to the page “Boutique” : how can I add a link ? Because if a customer wants to go directly to the shop page, where he can find all the products in one click, now he can’t because this html block leads to… the homepage.

If you want to add a mega menu block, you add ID shortcode to the menu description. Please read this instruction carefully: https://xtemos.com/docs/basel/create-menu/

If you want to add a menu item leading to the shop page, you need to add the shop page to the menu and save.

I am trying to create a mega menu but it does not give me an option to choose an HTML Block, or have the ‘description’ field to put the short code.

Exactly, I am strugglibng with the same issue : there is no field as it shows in the documentation
Maybe that is why it is not working ?

As soon as you have added a menu item, you should save your menu. Then set “Full-width” or “Set-size”. Make sure you have enabled all in the Screen option in the top right corner.

I think I have succeed to place the links but now I’d like to have just one big menu block that opens : for now there are 2 separate menu.
How can I do this ?

Remove the sub-menu items and insert the HTML block with your mega menu block into the menu item as per this instruction: https://xtemos.com/docs/basel/create-menu/
