creating custom Category Menu in sidebar

Hello Xtemos Team,

could you help me out with my problem where i stuck on ..

1) i need to create a Category Menu “A” (look @ Picture please) its creating, BUT it is not collapsing like the original Menu,

2) its not showing the “active” category where i am actualy (but it shows on original Category menu) pls look @ A2 Picture

Please help me out with this,
p.s. i am not allowed to change Category on backend (admin) cuz its “synchronize” hourly my products with warehouse, so, if i change the category X to XX Main Server will not find the products and will not synchtonize the product stock. so category tree in backend must be the same but i think its not the point ..

Hello,

Custom menus don’t contains the styling of product categories widget styling. That’s why the custom menu did not shown the option to collapse the child items and active item.

Only the widget “Product Categories” have those style and functionality and there is no option to add the collapse and active functionality in custom menus for sidebar.

It requires customization and this is beyond our support policy and limitations.
