Critical blank screen after activating WoodMart Core plugin

I am requesting technical verification of a critical issue that occurred when installing WoodMart. This support topic was requested by the author as part of my Envato refund request.

WoodMart installed and activated correctly, but after installing and activating the mandatory WoodMart Core plugin, both the staging website and the WordPress administration panel displayed a completely blank white screen, making the site inaccessible.

I attempted the following troubleshooting steps:

Installed WoodMart Core through the official setup wizard.
Installed WoodMart Core manually using the woodmart-core.zip file included with the theme.
Deleted and reinstalled WoodMart Core several times.
Disabled the WoodMart child theme.
Attempted recovery through Hostinger File Manager.
Disabled the plugin and changed the active theme through the WordPress database.
Repeated the installation in a staging environment without modifying the live store.

The server met the recommended requirements:

WoodMart: 8.5.6
WoodMart Core: 1.1.8
WordPress: 7.0.2
WooCommerce: 10.9.4
PHP: 8.3.30
WordPress memory limit: 2 GB
PHP max input variables: 10,000
PHP execution time: 360 seconds
Hosting: Hostinger with LiteSpeed
HTTPS enabled

The same critical blank-screen issue occurred repeatedly whenever WoodMart Core was activated. The staging environment was ultimately deleted to protect the live store, so I can no longer provide an active URL where the error can be reproduced.

I have continued the project using another theme on the same hosting environment, and it works correctly. I cannot reinstall WoodMart on my live store because I cannot risk blocking the active website.

WoodMart is no longer being used, and I accept that the license may be revoked.

Please review the technical information and the available screenshots and confirm whether this issue was caused by WoodMart Core or by an incompatibility that prevented the product from functioning correctly in my environment. The author indicated that my refund would be processed if the support team confirms that the error is caused by a defect in the theme.

Please let me know if there is any additional information or server log that I can request from Hostinger.

Thanks for the detailed report. Based on your description and screenshots alone, we can’t confirm whether the blank screen is caused by WoodMart Core or by an environment/plugin conflict. We need to reproduce and inspect the issue live to verify its source.

Please do the following so we can proceed:
– Create a temporary staging site or a clean WordPress install on a subdomain where the problem can be safely reproduced.
– Install/activate WoodMart and WoodMart Core there.
– Provide temporary WordPress admin (and, if possible, FTP) access via the forum’s Private Content field.
– If staging is not possible, share the relevant PHP error log entries from your server captured exactly when activating WoodMart Core. You can also enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG, try to activate WoodMart Core once, and then send us the contents of wp-content/debug.log.

Once we can see the issue live or review the exact fatal error from the logs, we will confirm whether it’s caused by our code or an incompatibility in that environment.

Tal como fue solicitado por su equipo de soporte, creé un nuevo entorno de pruebas aislado y repetí el proceso de instalación para reproducir el fallo e identificar su origen técnico.

Para garantizar que la prueba fuera confiable y descartar interferencias de plugins externos, todos los complementos fueron desactivados, excepto WooCommerce y WP Debugging.

La prueba se realizó paso a paso:

Primero, WoodMart fue instalado y activado sin WoodMart Core. En ese momento, tanto la página pública como el panel de administración de WordPress funcionaban correctamente.

Posteriormente, WoodMart Core fue instalado manualmente desde el archivo original woodmart-core.zip. WordPress confirmó que el plugin había sido instalado correctamente.

Sin embargo, inmediatamente después de pulsar Activar plugin, tanto la página pública como el administrador de WordPress quedaron inaccesibles.

Durante el incidente original, este fallo se manifestaba únicamente mediante una pantalla completamente blanca. En esta nueva prueba controlada se activó previamente la depuración de WordPress, por lo que ahora se muestra el error fatal subyacente en lugar de permanecer la página completamente vacía.

El error fatal reproducido es:

Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function woodmart_get_vc_css_animation_map()

El registro señala el siguiente archivo del tema WoodMart:

También muestra que WoodMart Core estaba cargando sus widgets desde:

He adjuntado capturas cronológicas que muestran:

WoodMart funcionando correctamente antes de activar WoodMart Core.
La instalación manual exitosa de WoodMart Core.
El error fatal inmediatamente después de activar el plugin.
El mismo error fatal en la página pública.
El mismo error fatal en el panel de administración de WordPress.

El entorno de pruebas se ha dejado sin modificaciones para que su equipo técnico pueda inspeccionar el fallo exactamente como ocurrió. Si necesitan acceso temporal a WordPress, FTP/SFTP o al alojamiento, por favor indiquen específicamente qué credenciales requieren. Las proporcionaré únicamente mediante el campo Contenido privado del foro y nunca en un mensaje público.

Quiero dejar completamente claro que este entorno y esta prueba de reproducción fueron creados exclusivamente para confirmar el fallo, determinar dónde se origina y proporcionar las evidencias técnicas solicitadas para mi caso de reembolso en Envato.

Esta prueba no se está realizando para reparar WoodMart con la intención de continuar utilizándolo en mi proyecto.

Después del fallo crítico original, tuve que abandonar la implementación con WoodMart y continuar todo el proyecto utilizando otro tema. La página ya fue reconstruida, configurada y terminada con ese otro tema, y actualmente funciona correctamente en el mismo entorno de alojamiento.

Por lo tanto, independientemente de que su equipo encuentre una solución técnica o una alternativa para WoodMart, no migraré nuevamente la página a WoodMart ni repetiré el trabajo de desarrollo que ya fue terminado. Regresar a WoodMart ya no es una alternativa práctica ni viable para mi proyecto.

WoodMart no está siendo utilizado en mi página activa y acepto la revocación permanente de la licencia del producto como parte del proceso de reembolso.

Ya completé la prueba técnica solicitada por su equipo y logré reproducir correctamente el fallo crítico en un entorno aislado. Solicito respetuosamente que inspeccionen el error reproducido, confirmen su causa técnica y emitan la conclusión correspondiente para que mi solicitud de reembolso en Envato pueda continuar.
