uzzamkhalid1ParticipantHi,
We recently purchased and activated the WoodMart theme on our website: https://shopcecexclusives.com. We’re also using Elementor Pro as our page builder.
However, upon trying to open the Elementor builder, we encounter a “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.” message. Interestingly, when we switch the theme from WoodMart to any other, this error disappears, and Elementor functions normally.
Additionally, we’re facing another issue with the Advanced Coupons plugin (premium version). The coupon field does not appear on the checkout page while using the WoodMart theme. Once again, switching to a different theme causes the coupon redeem field to reappear.
We reached out to the Advanced Coupons support team, and they reviewed the issue on their end. They advised contacting WoodMart theme support for assistance, as the issue appears to be theme-related.
Please find below a Loom video recording demonstrating the problem, where disabling the WoodMart theme allows the missing fields to appear:

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site, and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.
Otherwise, if the issue still exists, then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and share the valid wp logins details so I will further check on your site and give you a possible solution.
Best Regards,

uzzamkhalid1ParticipantHi,
Understood. I’ll follow your steps—disable the third‑party plugins, test, then re‑enable them one by one—and will update you shortly with what I find. If the issue persists.
Best,

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
You’re using a custom layout. When you create a custom layout with Elementor, it doesn’t contain any default elements or hooks. It contains only those elements that you added with Elementor manually.
In this case, we have a special widget called “Woocommerce Hook” in Elementor that you can place to your custom layout , and then the plugin will be able to add its custom content there. But I don’t know which one exactly it needs. You can either try to select all hooks one by one or contact plugin developers for help.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Please deactivate the third-party plugins on your site and check the issue. Please make sure you are using the latest version of Elementor.
For more details, check this Manual and troubleshoot the issue: https://elementor.com/help/elementor-widget-panel-not-loading/

uzzamkhalid1ParticipantAs mentioned earlier, the issue seems to be with the theme. Once the theme is changed, the plugin options start appearing, as shown in the Loom video shared previously. Please help us identify and resolve this issue—we’ve already tried everything on our end.

uzzamkhalid1ParticipantI just tried it on my end, and it’s working fine. Please try again and let me know if you still face any issues.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Please try to update the new version of the theme “WOODMART WordPress NEW: 8.2.7 RELEASED”, update the required plugin, and check the issue: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/update-the-theme/
If the issue remains, Please increase the PHP Max Input Vars value to 10000 in the server’s configuration. You need to execute some server commands for this. I would suggest you approach Hosting for this and check the issue after completely clearing the browser cache and server cache
https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/requirements-wordpress-set-up/If the issue still remains, turn off all of the plugins not related to the theme, refresh your cache, and check if the problem persists.
If the issue still remains, let me know and I will check and give you a possible solution.

uzzamkhalid1ParticipantA month back we bought the theme again now we have to buy again ?
August 1, 2025 at 11:12 am #677389
Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
There’s no need to buy it again. You can simply download the latest version of the theme from your ThemeForest account under the Downloads section and update it manually on your site or update the theme via Appearance > Theme.

uzzamkhalid1ParticipantThe theme has been updated to the latest version, and the PHP Max Input Vars value has been increased to 10,000 in the server configuration. However, the options are still not appearing on the checkout page. Could you please let me know if you’re able to resolve this?
August 6, 2025 at 11:26 am #678239
Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Now I have checked your site and edited the checkout layout with Elementor, and the Elementor widget panel is loading fine: https://postimg.cc/CBjgmJnG
For the plugin’s options not showing on the checkout page it is due to you using a custom layout for the checkout page, when you disable the layout, then the options will show on the checkout page.
When you create a custom layout with Elementor, it doesn’t contain any default elements or hooks. It contains only those elements that you added with Elementor manually.
In this case, we have a special widget called “Woocommerce Hook” in Elementor that you can place to your custom layout, and then the plugin will be able to add its custom content there. But I don’t know which one exactly it needs. You can either try to select all hooks one by one or contact plugin developers for help.

uzzamkhalid1ParticipantI see WooCommerce Hook option, but it is not showing us the Advanced Coupons option in the drop-down list.
Could you please let me know if you’re can do this as you have login credentials ?August 7, 2025 at 6:18 am #678401
uzzamkhalid1ParticipantAddition, if we turn the checkout page to default will it display all the current option on the checkout page and how to trun it back to the default layout.
August 7, 2025 at 2:16 pm #678481
Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I’m not sure exactly which WooCommerce hook the Advanced Coupons plugin uses. You can try placing different hooks one by one using the WooCommerce Hook widget in Elementor, or alternatively, I recommend contacting the plugin developers to find out the specific hook required.
You can also refer to this guide for more context: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/custom-hooks-and-plugins-compatibility/
If you want to turn the checkout page back to the default layout, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to Layouts in your WordPress dashboard.
2. Locate the custom checkout layout and disable it.Then go to Pages > Checkout, and make sure the page content contains the following shortcode:
[woocommerce_checkout]
This will load the default WooCommerce checkout layout.

August 9, 2025 at 12:31 pm #678901
uzzamkhalid1ParticipantI have turned the page to default checkout page, still not showing it.
August 9, 2025 at 3:06 pm #678918
Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand if it is our theme’s issue or not?
Best Regards,
August 11, 2025 at 10:51 am #679081
uzzamkhalid1ParticipantWhen we changed the theme, the option started appearing. This must be an issue on the theme’s end. Please confirm if you can resolve this or not. It has been a month since this ticket was generated, and we are still at the same stage, with confirmation that the issue is from the theme’s end.
