Critical Issues with Shop Cart & Header

Hi there,

We updated our client’s website to v.4.1.0 of Woodcart and we’ve experienced major issues with the site since.

#1 Major Issue:
Shopping Cart function is now broken and the cart appears at the bottom of the page in the footer section by default.

#2 Major Issue:
Search functionality has broken formatting.

#3 Major Issue:
Shop page formatting has completely broken and we’re unable to fix this. We’ve regenerated the CSS file as per the Theme guidelines and updated the Woodcart Core. No matter what we do, nothing is fixing these issues.

Be sure that you have regenerated CSS generator. And try to disable it completely in case you disabled some required styles for elements that are a mess now.

I don’t quite get what you mean exactly. How would we disable the CSS generator?

We’ve ensured to generate a new CSS file before submitting our ticket… that was already completed 🙂

Just confirming these were received? Our website is currently down as a result of this issue so we’re trying to get it resolved ASAP.

Please, disable external plugins first so we can check it without them.

We aren’t the original developers and as such we’re not sure which plugins are external. We’ve taken a snapshot of the active plugins so please disable those you don’t need for testing. 🙂

WPBakery Page Builder
Woodmart Core
WooCommerce

Optional plugins:

Slider Revolution
Contact Form 7
MailChimp for WordPress

This hasn’t resolved the issue – slider shopping cart is still appearing at the footer of the page. Please help!

We have a temporary fix to disable the pop up shopping cart for now until we can create a staging site. We’re all waiting on Xtemos support to know whether we can get a solution or if we should implement or temporary solution. Please let us know ASAP!

Could you please temporarily disable CSS generator file as we asked at the very beginning?

We don’t know how guys, I asked you how to do this when you told us to do that! Did you want us to disable the style.css file? Please elaborate or do it yourselves.

Sorry, we are talking about the CSS generator. Probably, you have disabled some required styles. Go to Dashboard -> WoodMart -> CSS Generator and check this. Or delete the generated file completely for testing.

We’ve deleted this file.

It appears to have fixed the issue!

Why does the theme even have a CSS Generator? That seems to cause more problems than what it’s worth!
