cemilurluParticipantI’m experiencing a severe performance issue with the WoodMart Core plugin that I need help resolving urgently.
Problem:
When I install and activate the WoodMart Core plugin, my server resources immediately spike to critical levels:CPU usage: 100%
Number of processes: maxed out
Entry processes: maxed outThis makes the site completely unusable and puts strain on the entire server.
The issue occurs immediately upon activation and only resolves when I deactivate the plugin. Could you please help me identify what’s causing this resource spike and how to resolve it?

Artem TemosKeymasterHi Cemil,
Thanks for the details. Let’s isolate the cause and get this resolved quickly.
Please run these checks first (ideally on a staging copy, or during off-peak hours):
– Update WoodMart theme and all required plugins to the latest versions.
– Deactivate all third-party plugins and clear all caches (plugin cache like WP Rocket and any CDN cache). Keep only: WoodMart Core, WooCommerce, and your page builder (Elementor or WPBakery).
– Switch from the child theme to the WoodMart parent theme and test again.Environment checks:
– Ensure server limits meet these minimums: PHP 7.4+; memory_limit 256M; max_execution_time 180; max_input_vars 10000.If the problem remains, please provide temporary admin access in the Private Content area so we can check:
– WP Admin URL, username, and password.
– Confirm we have permission to disable plugins and switch to the parent theme for testing.
– Hosting panel or FTP/SFTP access if possible (for .htaccess/log checks).
– Let us know your page builder (Elementor or WPBakery) and any caching/CDN in use.Once we have access, we will perform the checks above and pinpoint the cause.
Kind Regards

cemilurluParticipantIt looks like the WP‑Optimize plugin is causing the issue. Which optimization plugin would you recommend as an alternative? I’ve been monitoring the process count, CPU usage, and number of entries — they still fluctuate, but they’re not maxing out.
However, while I was typing these messages, I checked the statistics again. After disabling WP‑Optimize, those numbers spiked noticeably. I’ve attached a screenshot showing the change within just two minutes.Attachments:

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
If this issue is caused by the WP Optimize plugin we suggest you contact plugin’s developers for help. As an alternative, you can try using WP Rocket or LiteSpeed optimization plugins.
Kind Regards
