nepaulParticipantDear Xtemos team,
We are moving my website from Opencart to Woocommerce. The Woocommerce shop we are building is on a seperate server.
The shop has a lot of different product image sizes. In the category product overviews most images get cropped, but we like to have full images. See example in the attachment. What settings should we use to have full images?
Thank you!
Kind regards.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I saw the screenshot you attached.
Please check how it works with the default WordPress theme just to check whether the issue is with our theme or not. Because the product images are controlled by WooCommerce and our theme doesn’t influence.
Regards.

nepaulParticipantHello,
Okay we tried that, and the issue is not in the theme. To make this work, there are a lot of plugins. Which plugin would be best to use with Woodmart?
For example:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/smart-image-resize/
https://nl.wordpress.org/plugins/ewww-image-optimizer/
https://nl.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-optimize/
https://nl.wordpress.org/plugins/robin-image-optimizer/
https://nl.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-smushit/
https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/May 13, 2021 at 6:58 am #291974
Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Try to go to Appearance -> Customize -> WooCommerce -> Product images and make sure that the cropping option is not enabled there.
Kind Regards

For example:

Artem TemosKeymasterWe don’t know what are you going to use these plugins for. Most of them are compatible with our theme. We usually use the “Regenerate Thumbnails” plugin.

nepaulParticipantHi Artem, we tried “Regenerate Thumbnails” , but doesn’t work.
Sorry, I’m not used to Woocommerce, and don’t understand why is it so difficult to fix it.
Would it help to give you login?
Should we try this plugin? https://wordpress.org/plugins/smart-image-resize/
Kind regards.

Artem TemosKeymasterCould you please clarify if it works correctly with the default theme? This functionality is a part of the WooCommerce plugin and our theme shouldn’t influence it.
We haven’t this plugin either.May 14, 2021 at 1:39 pm #292440
nepaulParticipantYes we tried with default theme, looks like this, see attachment.

Artem TemosKeymasterIt seems to be correct if you have images with different sizes. It should look the same way with our theme if you apply this configuration.
