Custom Header for Taxonomy – I'm using WPML

Hello!

I’m using WPML but don’t want to translate Header as Strings as it’s not that simple to customize. I’ve created multiple Headers and can use them as Custom headers on pages and products. (have some issues there as well but no worries)

How can I add custom header to Taxonomy in different languages?

And also – couldn’t find how to change Default Header – it’s ENG but changed default language to EST so would like it to be EST. Tried search in options as well but wasn’t there.

All the taxonomy pages inherit the header in the shop page If you mean Woocommerce or blog page /portfolio page, that is why the correct way is translating the header in the String Translation.

What is the problem with the String translation, perhaps we can help?

I’m actually had more problems with Theme / WPML so I created another Ticket. Odd ones so hopefully can be fixed. I have actually modified files to use custom Header’s in different languages Archives etc. But what’s the shortcode to use in PHP? (couldn’t find it here: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/header-builder/)

Hello,

In order to translate the header, please, follow these steps:

1. Create equal headers for each language, insert the content accordingly.

2. Take the Id of each header as shown: header_528910 you can take it from the URL

3. Insert them in the String translation as shown here: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/translate-header-wpml/
