digitalweb66.frParticipantI’m having an issue. I created a custom HTML element to integrate into my menu. The problem is that when I hover over “Smartphone”, the custom HTML appears, but I can’t move my mouse over it because it disappears immediately.

June 12, 2026 at 10:46 am #721408Hello,
Navigate to Appearance > Menus > Edit Menu > Expand the menu item, and in the dropdown settings, set the drop-down settings instead of aside in your current setup.
https://postimg.cc/PvbwVWY1But if you want to use the aside drop-down style aside, navigate to Appearance > Menu > Edit menu item and set the drop-down setting design aside: https://ibb.co/g3QVMPP
Add the sub-item like in the screenshot: https://ibb.co/3B42yKc
In the sub-item set, drop down and add the HTML Block for the drop-down: https://ibb.co/vVFX5cS
This is how the aside menu design works.

digitalweb66.frParticipantWhen I click on “Sidebar” in the menu and move my mouse over it, the HTML block disappears. I’m sending you my website so you can check it and see exactly what I mean.
June 12, 2026 at 3:08 pm #721433Hello,
I have checked your site and the HTML Blocks opening fine when hovering the menu item in the sticky navigation sidebar.
See video for clarification: https://streamable.com/q7rt6i
If you have another behaviour, share a small video for better understanding to reproduce the issue on your site.

Yes, about this I replied to you in the first message, Navigate to Appearance > Menus > Edit Menu > Expand the menu item, and in the dropdown settings, set the drop-down settings instead of aside in your current setup.

digitalweb66.frParticipantThe problem is that I’m doing exactly what you’re telling me to do, but I still have a white space behind my HTML. Please look at the screenshot below.
June 15, 2026 at 3:14 pm #721582Hello,
Choose the drop-down design in the menu “Full Width” and check how it works:
https://postimg.cc/4mS3hb64You need to make sure the content in the HTML Block is not be narrowed down.

digitalweb66.frParticipantCould you do it for me, because I’ve been stuck for a very long time and I can’t manage to do it…
June 16, 2026 at 9:13 am #721667Hello,
I checked your website and can see that the menu is already using the Full Width dropdown design. The remaining white space is not caused by the menu settings themselves.
The content inside the dropdown is being loaded from an HTML Block created with Elementor, and the layout within that HTML Block is not stretched to the full available width because you are adding a Mega Menu widget inside the HTML Block, please try removing the Mega Menu widget and using the Extra Menu List widget in the layout instead, then check how it works.
Best Regards
