Custom tab activate/deactivate toggle not working

The new custom tab functionality has a active toggle switch. However, this switch has no effect. The tab remains visible even after deactivating.

I don’t see the point in providing admin access. In addition, this function is purely added and implemented and controlled by the woodmart theme.
