customize product category page

Hello,
I use a woodmart layout for my store page (product archive), product page (single product) and for the shopping cart. I have edited the layouts with elementor and it works well.
How can I also edit the product category page, which is called up when you select a category via the navigation or a widget?
the url then says …/product-category/… and this page does not correspond to my product archive layout.
I would like to keep my store layout when a category is selected.

Basically it works, but if I want to display the product categories as the title of the category page, it is no longer displayed when a category on the shop is selected.
It only works on the store page.

i would like the category page to have the same layout as the shop page.
i also tried to add the categories as a condition on the shop layout, but that doesn’t work either.

Is there a way to work without subcategories? I don’t have enough products for that yet and I want to display the main category on the category page for now.

Sorry, but there is no option in Theme Settings available for that. It requires customizations and this is beyond our limitations and support policy.

Hi, I have defined subcategories as you suggested. it works almost as expected, I had hoped that the main category and additionally the subcategories would be displayed.
similar to this example:

in the last level, i.e. after the subcategory has been selected, the complete header menu is missing again. how can i solve this?

This is Page title widget, not Product categories widget which you are using.
