Date in testimonial

Hi,

With the date in testimonial we are able to use the Time since function of WordPress.

As the reviews are important for us, we have to create a review slider on homepage.

As long as you will not create a Review slider, the easiest way is to use a template of your testimonial, but I temporarly need a date field to add in the functions.php, in order to manage the date for each testimonial by adding WordPress Time since shortcode.

It should not take a lot of time.

inc/shortcodes/shortcodes.php`.

I know how to customize shortcode, but as I explained I need a date field option (to activate or not if you prefer) in the testimonials, so that the shortcode will take the single date for the Time since and the problem is definitively solved without urgently create a new slider.

You can customize WPBakery shortcodes fields in the file inc/vc-element/vc-config.php

Date of testimonial like date of review should be included as option withing this element.

Please offer this option in your testimonial

We will consider adding such option but such questions are not covered by the theme support. There is no such option in our theme by default.

Here was my suggestion:
We want to add a Reviews slider in homepage (from the existing one like Testimonial in Basel theme ). Some plugin are very heavy and slow down our site.

We thought to customize a Theme element by adding a date (time) field, in order to use the Time Since option.
