Deactivate portfolio

Hello,

I need to deactivate the portfolio function. I am trying to remove it from Googles search results (see attached), but I can’t get them to remove it, since the page is still active. I have trashed the page, but somehow the link still works. https://www.geoit.dk/portfolio/

The portfolio has been disabled since the beginning.

I saw the screenshot you added. Google Crawls the pages of the websites that’s why the pages go there with your website.

If you deleted the page from your website, it still comes in google crawls. Because there are billions of websites on the Google search engine.

So it will take some time to crawl again your website and update it in their results.

I am using Google Search Console, where I can make Google to crawl the page, but the link needs to not excists. It is active right now, there for when I get google to crawl the page it takes the portfolio link with, so it showes up on Google Search.

I don’t need the portfolio at all. Can we somehow delete it completely?

There is no such link available for Google to start crawling. Google Crawling is scheduled by google itself. Don’t worry it will be removed when Google will crawl your website and the results will be updated.

You can get links removed from google here: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removals – but they need to be non-existent.

You can make google crawl your website by registering it here: https://search.google.com/search-console

I can’t get Google to remove this page (https://www.geoit.dk/portfolio/) – since it is still online.

Kindly enable the portfolio option from Theme settings >> Shop >> Portfolio then it will be fixed. And if you don’t want to use anywhere on your site, then simply do not use the portfolio page link in any menu or any module in your site.
