Demo content doesn’t appear on my website

Hi,

I have troubles with demo content not showing up on my webiste: http://www.mobilnost.evolt.si

I have uploaded the theme successfully but the demo content doesn’t appear and the site looks kind of broken. All of the neccessary plugins are installed and active, I tried following these video: *https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DeXKyQz6KFw* step by step, but my results are not the same as described in video.

Please help.

Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then Activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.

Otherwise, if the issue still exists then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and share the wp login details so will check and import the demo on your site.

I tried deactivating plugins that existed before I uploaded brand new XTemos theme but the issue wasn’t resolved. My website (www.mobilnost.evolt.si) still looks like it’s broken and it loads fairly slowly. However I admit mistake on my part for not uploading the theme on a fresh WP site (I had another theme uploaded which I haven’t deactiveted before I uploaded new XTemos theme on my website.

Every once in a while I also get an error with establishing a database connection (I’m attaching screenshot in the attachments). What do you think may be the reason for that?

The webiste also loads fairly slowly. Do you think I should upgrade my servers capabilities?

Hello,

You need to increase PHP max execution time limit on your server. The recommended value is 180s. Then you will be able to import the dummy content without any problems. Let us know if it doesn’t help.
