Make sure you run the parent theme and try to import the demo.

As we can see, there is some issue on your server and even the default WordPress importer doesn’t work. You can try to import any XML with images via WordPress -> Tools -> Import and see that it doesn’t work. It is not something related to our theme.

It looks like the menus were imported multiple times. Now you need to go to Appearance -> Menus and clear all menus from unnecessary items.
