Disable shopping cart options

I have found this topic and followed the instructions:

But it doesn’t work. Only the CSS changes has worked, but the enabled catalog mode not.
I can see the cart-buttons in menu. It is necessary to clear some cache or something?

I’ve reviewed your website, and the catalog mode function is operational. The “Add to cart” buttons, cart widget, as well as the cart and checkout pages, have all been concealed. Please revisit your site after thoroughly clearing your browser cache.

Sorry, but that can’t be right. Can you please take a screenshot of this?
I didn’t just clear the cache, I tried a different computer. I can see the shopping cart icon everywhere in the top right corner.
“Compare”, “Add to wishlist”, … everything is there.
