Display related products by product tag

Hello there,

i want to display related products on my product page via tag (not category) but my problem is that i don’t want related products in the same category that dont contain that tag to be displayed.
Is there any solution for that?

Regarding the Related Products & Upsells, the available options can be accessed by going to the Theme Settings > Single Product > Related & Upsells: https://ibb.co/zrstvbd

So, in the Theme Settings, there isn’t any separate option that would match your mentioned concern. But according to the default WooCommerce option, you can individually define Related Products for a Single Product by editing that Product > go to Product Data area > there under the Linked Products sub-tab > you can define the Up-sells: https://ibb.co/D4Y9rS1

In this way, you can define your choice of Products for the Related Products of a Product. This is the maximum possible in this regard. You can read it about here in the following WooCommerce Article: https://woocommerce.com/document/related-products-up-sells-and-cross-sells/

i want to display 2 different related products sections , one based on the tag of the product and the other one based on the category of the product.
Is there a way i can do that?

Sorry but there is no option in Theme Settings available for that. It requires Customization and this is beyond our limitations and support policy scope. Hope you can understand our limitations.

Further, under the Custom Single Product Layout made through the Theme Layout Builder you can only find three options:
Related
Upsells
Cross-sells

The Elementor screenshot was just shown as an example. It was just to inform you that these are the only available options related to Related Products under the Theme.
