Displaying a different number of products depending on the resolution

I have set to large screen resolutions to display 5 product columns on desktop in the product page. I need a custom css to display a smaller number of products in a row at lower resolutions (such as a laptop).

From settings I am limited to desktop/tablet/mobile only.

You can set different numbers for different devices.

This method has bugs. Some products are placed on 4 columns, others on 5…
