Do I need to install a plugin for SMTP?

I have newly built wordpress and woodmart, do I have to use Mailchimp to send emails? Such as user registration and password modification, and some order-related notifications? Or can I also use a plugin that supports SMTP?

No You don’t need to use any plugins to send emails because woocommerce sends these emails itself.

SMTP plugin is only used when your emails are not sending.

Thanks for replying to me! But this is the case, I plan to send emails with a custom domain name, so I think I need to configure some service information for SMTP, like the picture below. But I don’t know do I need to install a plugin to support my custom domain name?
