Does woocommerce automatically clear cart after log out?

No it doesn’t clear the cart after logout. If you logout and then login again then the products you added previously will be there in your cart.

Thanks for the answer however my cart seems to clear after log out.

here is what happens.

Add item to cart while logged out
Login again, item still in cart
log out cart empty.

Let me explain how it works.

As I mentioned in my previous reply when you login to the website and add products to the cart. They will display in your cart until you are logged in. When you log out from the website then the cart will be empty, that is the default behavior.

To see the products you previously added to the cart you need to login again.

That is not an issue by any means that is its default behavior.
