elonriParticipantDear Support,
I’m using your dark games template with Dokan and the Dokan “Report Abuse” flag does not. I can’t see it in the elements and don’t know how to add to the single product page. When I switch to another theme, the default “Report Abuse” is there.

elonriParticipantBasically – if I try to use the Single Product custom layout, the report abuse and some of the functionality is lost. If I just use the defauly Woocommerce layout, I have full functionality.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
It looks like the plugin adds its custom button on the single product page using the standard WooCommerce hook. When you create a custom layout with Elementor it doesn’t contain any default elements and hooks. It contains only those elements that you added with Elementor manually.
We have a special “Hook” element in Elementor that you can place to your custom layout and then the plugin will be able to add its custom content there. But we don’t know which one exactly it needs. You can either try to select all hooks one by one or contact plugin developers for help.
Kind Regards

elonriParticipantThanks for the quick response. I can try all the hooks in the meantime until I hear back from the developers. How can I do that?

Artem TemosKeymasterYou can add a special “Hook” element to your product page layout and change hook names one by one. You can do this in Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Layouts.
Kind Regards

elonriParticipantListen you may as well be speaking Latin to me because I have no idea what to do after that.
I mean it’s your theme. You toot it as being compatible with Dokan and yet I’m stuck with this simple issue. I have to wait 24 hours for either you or Dokan to respond and then the response is cryptic. I’m not a programmer. I bought the themes so that I wouldn’t have to go into code etc and have to figure this stuff out for myself. The theme should just work.

Artem TemosKeymasterYes, our theme works exactly as described. Dokan is developed to work with the default WooCommerce product page layout. As you already confirmed, it works when you disable the custom layout made with Elementor. So you either need to disable the custom layout that Dokan is not developed for (no matter if the custom layout is based on our theme, Elementor PRO, or any other plugins) or you need to perform extra steps to make it work with custom layouts. But as we mentioned, you must ask Dokan developers for this extra hook name.
Kind Regards

elonriParticipantIf you guys know that with the standard product page layout that particular hook is there, and you can see what it is, why not add it into your custom layout functionality?
December 6, 2023 at 10:15 am #518952
Artem TemosKeymasterIt doesn’t make sense to add all hooks to the custom layout. It will add unnecessary tags and other things that will affect the performance. Tha is why you need to add only those hooks that you need.
Kind Regards

elonriParticipantThanks for you reply. Dokan got back to me and said that I needed to install Elementor Pro in order to use that Report Abuse element. I did and it worked.
What’s curious is that the Report Abuse worked in the default single product layout WITHOUT the need for Elementor Pro.

Artem TemosKeymasterIt is weird since it should definitely work without Elementor PRO. Anyway, if you are ok with the solution then let it be. Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.

elonriParticipantIt is weird and I’ve asked them but haven’t received a response yet.
This is Dokan’s initial response: “This absence of Elementor Pro is the reason why the Report Abuse widget is not visible on the single product page while editing the page using Elementor. It seems there might have been a misunderstanding, and I believe WoodMart might not have had the opportunity to thoroughly investigate this matter, inadvertently providing inaccurate information.”
Anyway, it is what it is. I have Elementor Pro so I am ok with the solution. Thank you.
