I am always developing and testing offline using a MAMP environment which is only visible to my sole local machine (see screenshot). I’m almost at the point of being ready to make my changes live. Can/do I have more than one domain activation? How many domain activations am I allowed?

You can activate your license twice: for the development and final site. You can activate your license when you transfer the site to the live destination
