Double click on size/colour on product page created issues

Hi Guys,

I how found a big issue from a few customer over the past 2 weeks. The use case goes as follows:

Step 1: Go to http://www.theuniformstudio.com/shop/shirts/classic-fitted-shirt
Step 2: Select a size and colour
Step 3: The garment price and stock available is shown
Step 4: If you go back and click the same size/colour again (i.e. deselect the options)
Step 5: The garment price and stock available is no longer shown
Step 6: click Add to basket button
Step 7: alert is shown that you must select for size/colour to add the item to the basket

i can see that when user does the ‘deselection’ functionality the “active-swatch” css class is not removed. It looks like the option are still selected but when user tries to add to cart, they are not able to.

This is rather confusion for users, can you please help me to fix this by removing the options selected if user click on the same size/colour combination?

Thank you so much for this detailed instruction.

We will improve our swatches function and remove this issue in the next update. Unfortunately, there is no a quick fix for this.

ok i have tested this issue on your demo site and i can see the issue there too. here are the steps i took on the demo site:

Step 1: Go to http://demo.xtemos.com/basel/shop/man/coloured-jacket-basic/
Step 2: Select a size and colour (Black & M)
Step 3: add the garment to the basket
Step 4: Now select the size M again (i.e. deselect the options)
Step 5: click Add to basket button
Step 6: alert is shown that you must select for size/colour to add the item to the basket

so this is the same issue i see on my site and i have the latest version 2.8 installed.

Just checked on our demo and it works correctly. Try to clear your browser cache.

this is not working on the demo site even after i have cleared all cache.

i am not sure why its not working for me.

Thank you for the detailed explanation. Actually, we thought about a bit different problem. Before the update you were not able to deselect options at all. We will look into this issue also.
