downloading woodmart translation

Good Day Sir, I have few Questions… Its about the woodmart Translation. In the support forum there is a side bar with useful tips. (download Woodmart Translations). Im from germany and i started my website with an English version of woodmart. is it possible to download the German version of the theme and upload it to my website? even though my website is already translated? would i lose my data?

Please make the full backup of your site and set Genram in the Dashboard > Settings > General, then upload the translation and check, if you like you would leave, if you do not, you will be able to restore your site from the backup.
