Drinks show up, in wrong section

I have a problem with the products that require a popup, for example alcohol products.

The products are only assigned to specific categories, such as Draught Beer or Cocktails, but the popup is also being shown higher up in the category structure.

For example, the Gin Hass product is only assigned to the Cocktails category, but the popup is still shown two levels higher up under the main Food category.

Which settings should I use to make sure the popup only appears on the actual product category, for example Cocktails or Draught Beer, and not on parent categories such as Food?

You can see, that Gin hass, only has a checkmark in the category Drinks. but is is showed up in the https://anthonys-festudlejning.dk/vare-kategori/mad-og-drikke/

Drinks should only be listed in https://anthonys-festudlejning.dk/vare-kategori/mad-og-drikke/fadoelsanlaeg/cocktails-drinks/

and beers in https://anthonys-festudlejning.dk/vare-kategori/mad-og-drikke/fadoelsanlaeg/fadoel/

This is importent due to age pop-up.

This happens because WooCommerce automatically includes products from child categories inside their parent categories’ archive pages.

– Product assigned to Cocktails & Drinks
– Parent category: Mad og drikke

So the product can also appear in the parent category archive. You can check the same behaviour with the default woocommerce theme storefront too.

Try to set the preset condition only for the exact categories where the popup is required, such as sub categories and not for their parent categories.

What will the correct setup be? Because if it change the Parrent category to the other opstions, it do it for all of the products?

Use specific categories only for alcohol products (e.g. Cocktails & Drinks, Draught Beer) and apply the Age Verify popup only to those exact categories in the preset.

Do not include the parent category, otherwise it will affect all products inside it.

I still have problem with some products.
There is only a checkmark in Cocktails and drinks, but they show up in the generel shop.
