dropdown html menu problem: sometimes it appears, sometimes it is empty

I created an html menu with product categories and linked to the main menu via “HTML Block for the dropdown”

on some subpages appears correctly, other times it appears empty

where could be the problem ?

Please deactivate all the plugins except these ones:

Slider Revolution
WPBakery Page Builder or Elementor
Woodmart Core
Contact Form 7
MailChimp for WordPress
WooCommerce
Safe SVG

If the problem has gone, activate the plugins one by one, checking the issue to detect which one causes the problem.

In case, the problem remains, even after all the plugins are deactivated, provide your site admin access (insert the site credentials into the Private content block under the message area) and confirm the permission for plugins deactivation, switching to the parent or default theme. As soon as we complete the testing we will enable all back, however, the site would be without plugins for 15-20 min. You would better make the full backup of your site.

I tried turning off all plugins but the problem persisted

I finally discovered what was causing the problem:

it does not work when the html block for the dropdown menu is created using ELEMENTOR – Product categories ( screenshot )

I currently created the html block for the dropdown menu manually (box with icon) and it works without problems

the result appears to be the same, but “product categories” would be better as it automatically generates categories upon any change

short: there is a conflict between this Elementor element and the dropdown menu (when surfing in categories, an empty menu is generated as I wrote in the previous post)

as if Elementor sometimes didn’t know how to dynamically generate the list of categories in this dropdown menu or didn’t have enough time to display it . Because any static html in the dropdown menu without problems

can you test this element in one of your test templates? then surf in the subcategories and go to the dropdown menu, it should be empty
