2. In order to change the Footer for a specific page (e.g category), you need to use our presets for it.

I want the content to start after the header ends

This happens due to the Overlap header is defined globally. So I suggest defining globally the simple header (not overlap) in Theme Settings -> General -> Header: https://prnt.sc/ImL2Lov2KIm6 , but for the Home page, set the Overlap header via the settings of the page: https://prnt.sc/nGJglfcvibnG
