    Hi Team,

The category filter section on the store page appears closed by default. What do I need to do to keep it open? I’m sharing the visual of the relevant section via a private field.

    Hello,

Go to Appearance >> Widgets >> Shop Page Widget Area, and edit the specific widget used for displaying those categories. Check if there’s an option to set it to open by default.

    Hello,

    Sorry for the early confusion!

Navigate to Theme Settings > Product Archive > Widgets > Set the option Shop sidebar widgets collapse as “disable”: https://ibb.co/C1Jh2tY

I’ve been receiving absurd responses for a very simple issue for 3 days. You’re not being helpful. I’ve already provided all the details, including the URL and a screenshot. The steps you provided disable the filters. I simply want the section I showed in the screenshot to be automatically enabled. That’s it—it’s that simple!

    Hello,

I sincerely apologize for the confusion and any frustration caused. I truly appreciate your patience.

To ensure the filter section remains open by default, please navigate to Theme Settings > Product Archive > Widgets and look for an option related to Shop Sidebar Collapsible Widgets. The “Filters only” variant works with WoodMart Layered Navigation widgets.

If you want to open the categories by default, Theme Settings > Product Archive > Widgets > Shop sidebar widgets collapse.

Set this option to “Filters Only” to ensure that the category filter remains open by default.

If the issue remains, share the wp login details so I will further check on your site and give you a possible solution.

All the instructions and information you provided are incorrect. Despite explaining everything in detail, you haven’t been able to solve even a simple issue for a week. I had to figure it out myself.

To have the category filters and subcategories open by default on the store page, go to Product Archive > Widgets > Categories widget and disable the ‘Modify Function’ option (it needs to be turned off).

Please don’t waste people’s time if you’re not going to help! Additionally, examine in detail the screenshots and URL addresses sent to you in your special areas!
