bartenderondutyParticipantHi Xtemos Team,
We are experiencing major issues with the Elementor Cart element and Woodmart theme. Please see screenshots of the cart element on a test page, switching between the Woodmart theme and Hello theme. The element looks good with the Hello theme, but on the same page, it breaks when the Woodmart theme is reactivated.
My team and I can’t quite figure out why this is happening—there doesn’t appear to be any templates applied to this test page. We need to use the Elementor cart for the auto-update cart functionality and other functionality.
Can you please help us diagnose and fix this?

bartenderondutyParticipantWe reached out to Elementor about this issue too and they just responded confirming it’s a conflict with the Woodmart theme, and we should contact you. They also said they are happy to work with you on fixing this and suggested you coordinate via their GitHub if needed: https://github.com/elementor/elementor/issues

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please disable the cart widget in the Elementor > Settings > Integration.
The Elementor widget does not have the correct view.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
Best Regards

bartenderondutyParticipantThank you!
Can you please clarify what you mean by “the Elementor widget does not have the correct view”?
We would like to use the Elementor cart widget instead of Woodmart’s cart widget because we prefer the auto-update cart functionality that comes with Elementor’s version. Can we use the Elementor cart widget instead?

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
WoodMart styles are not applied to the Elementor cart widget, please try both ways.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

bartenderondutyParticipantUnfortunately, this isn’t working. The Elementor cart widget is still broken. We set the site up in a staging environment, removed all custom CSS and Javascript, and tested on and Elementor template and new Page. We also disabled/enabled the cart widget in Elementor > Settings > Integration and that didn’t fix the issue either.
Can you please take a look at the two instances we set up and suggest a solution?
Thank you.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please, confirm the permission for plugin deactivation, and switching to the parent theme. As soon as we complete the testing we will enable all back, however, the site would be without plugins for 15-20 min. You would better make the full backup of your site.
Best Regards

bartenderondutyParticipantYes, please proceed. This is in a staging/test environment, so please feel free to deactivate plugins, themes, etc. and take all the time you need to diagnose.
Also forgot to mention, please be sure to add an item to the cart to activate the Elementor cart widget on the /cart-test page; otherwise, the widget will not display.
Thank you!

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
I cannot catch the problem.
Please reactive the actions step by step with screens to reproduce the problem.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
Best Regards

bartenderondutyParticipantThank you for looking into this. The cart buttons still link to the /cart page, which uses the Woodmart cart widget. We are trying to implement the Elementor cart widget and diagnosing it on a separate “test” cart page, so you’ll need to navigate to that page directly after adding an item to your cart. Link below.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
We will consider the possibility to solve the issue in one of our future updates, meanwhile, you would better use our Woocommerce builder of WoodMart allowing to create custom templates for product pages and other functional pages that are not editable by default. Woocommerce builder is the inbuilt functionality widget included in the builder you use on the site.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
Best Regards

Elise NoromitMemberP.S. Also there is an option to update the cart in the Theme Settings: https://monosnap.com/file/WXMalNCeH6YEuLZlo9MhQQ9yEwCfAh
