LiamTGCSParticipantHi team, can you please point me in the right direction with regards to typography.
Sometimes, I notice that the Elementor typography will over-ride the theme’s default settings.
Within Elementor, I have these settings ticked:
Disable Default Colours – Checking this box will disable Elementor’s Default Colours, and make Elementor inherit the colours from your theme.
Disable Default Fonts – Checking this box will disable Elementor’s Default Fonts, and make Elementor inherit the fonts from your theme.
The issue is that it makes the site look ugly when Elementor kicks in and uses Elementor typography. I have to then go into the Woodmart Typography page in order for the theme’s typography to over-ride.
Any idea or have you guys come across this issue in the past?

LiamTGCSParticipantThanks for getting back in touch – could you please send a screenshot of which setting you are referring to, as I’ve gone through all the settings and can not locate “Application Elementor Styles”.

LiamTGCSParticipantHi there, I can confirm that these settings are checked, however, the font keeps reverting back to the ugly, incorrect font. Here is a screenshot of the settings:

Here is a screenshot of the ugly, incorrect font:

https://i.kutit.net/h/tQWaAY.pngAs soon as I load the WoodMart typography page, without even touching any settings or anything, the font reverts back to how it should look like in the third screenshot. I don’t even have to save anything in the WoodMart typography page. This is very frustrating as the font is extremely annoying and ugly when it reverts to Elementor font. Is there something I’m doing wrong? Have you seen this issue before?

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please enter each widget that has text and reset the typography settings in the element.

LiamTGCSParticipantHi again Elise,
I’ve reached out to Elementor who investigated further, and they’ve advised:
I checked the site and the fonts are being inherited from the theme currently. There is no font-related CSS being loaded by Elementor.
I am immensely confused why the font for this widget on the homepage keeps reverting to some ugly, huge font. The only way to get it to revert back to the nice small font is to load the “Typography” page within WoodMart theme settings… I don’t even need to press “Save” button under Typography, I only have to load the page.
Incorrect font style:
https://i.kutit.net/h/nELww7.pngCorrect font style (will revert to this when I simply load the Typography page):
https://i.kutit.net/h/tQWaAY.pngPlease check this for me as I can’t understand why the font keeps reverting to some ugly font.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
I am checking the h4 title: https://gyazo.com/36b298b0a7bb7c204f2d0cfbc5ca28a9
You see “Cabin” font family. I check the Theme Settings > Typography and see you have set this font for the titles.
Please clarify how I can reproduce the problem.
Best Regards
