email comfirmation for registering of new users

I wonder if it is possible to let new users confirm their email addresses before getting ready for their new accounts?
Because there are too many new users registering their new accounts the email addresses are misspelled or may not exist.

Checked that option and it works a bit another than you want. In general, the registration functionality is related to WooCommerce so in this case, I suggest you find a plugin for this need.
