email subscription error when signing up for newsletters

Hi, when I try to sign up as a client, the thank you message does not appear, and I get an error. Do I need to connect Mailchimp to fix this issue, or can another problem exist? Kindly refer to the screenshot and suggest a fix.

Make sure you have lists created in your MailChimp account.
- Login into your MailChimp account.
- Click on the Lists tab from the top menu and create it.
- Then Open the MailChimp for Form > MailChimp page.
- Locate Your MailChimp Account section and click the Renew MailChimp lists button.
- You will see all of the available lists there.
- Open MailChimp for Form > Form page.
- Select Settings tab. You should see all available lists there.
- Select the list(s) to which people who submit this form should be subscribed.
You need to follow the plugin documentation to set up the email properly. Please refer to the Mailchimp guide here: https://mailchimp.com/help/set-up-your-mailchimp-inbox/ . This will walk you through the necessary steps to configure and edit the follow-up email.
