    Hi there, I’m finding that my emails are not being received by customers.
    We’re using a child theme and can see that some of the email templates are out of date as a result, can you help me to fix this?
    woodmart-child/woocommerce/emails/admin-cancelled-order.php version 3.5.0 is out of date. The core version is 4.1.0
    woodmart-child/woocommerce/emails/admin-failed-order.php version 3.5.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.7.0
    woodmart-child/woocommerce/emails/admin-new-order.php version 3.5.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.7.0
    woodmart-child/woocommerce/emails/customer-completed-order.php version 3.5.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.7.0
    woodmart-child/woocommerce/emails/customer-invoice.php version 3.5.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.7.0
    woodmart-child/woocommerce/emails/customer-new-account.php version 3.5.2 is out of date. The core version is 6.0.0
    woodmart-child/woocommerce/emails/customer-note.php version 3.5.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.7.0
    woodmart-child/woocommerce/emails/customer-on-hold-order.php version 3.5.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.7.0
    woodmart-child/woocommerce/emails/customer-processing-order.php version 3.5.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.7.0
    woodmart-child/woocommerce/emails/customer-refunded-order.php version 3.5.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.7.0

    Those are the out of date ones, what can I do?

    Could you please check how it works with the default wordpress theme just to check whether the issue is with our theme or not.

    Yes the emails appear to send using the standard theme, is there a way to maybe update these templates or something?

    The theme is updated, should I update the child theme at all? That is a couple of years old now

    No, there is no need to update the child theme, just update the parent theme.

    Hello,

    Now, this is showing because you have made the customization in the child theme and Woocommerce templates, which are outdated now. Now you have to update those templates then these warnings will remove.

    Please ask your developer who did the customization in the child theme Woocommerce templates.

    I have Email Customizer pro plugin for the emails and they stopped working, so I removed the plugin. So now with no customisations it still doesnt work. What can I do?

    If I just update the templates for these emails from the Woodmart theme to override the child theme, will there be issues? Can you tell me how to do this if not?

    If you update these outdated templates in the child theme customizations you made then these warnings will be removed. And sorry we could not help you with customizations this is out of our theme support scope.

    Hi thanks for your message.
    To be clear as I think I maybe confused something.

    We are using a child theme, there are 0 customizations or amendments made in any form at all. We are finding that our emails are not sending because the Woodmart templates are out of date in our child theme.
    What can we do to fix this please?

    Hi, thanks, the issue is that the emails are not sending, I dont care so much about the warnings. So the emails should now send since you removed the folder?

    I have now been over a week without any emails sending to my customers. This is completely unacceptable for a business when people are making transactions all day and is costing me.

    Can you confirm if I am to revert from the child theme to the main theme if that would fix the issue?
    When you deleted the folder

    I have removed the Woocommerce folder from the child theme and hope you will not see the warnings again.

    This has caused major issues on my website since.
    I need urgent assistance here, the website isnt working properly and many issues have occurred.

    I need the emails working asap.

    You need to check this email’s functionality with the default wordpress theme because our theme doesn’t influence the emails.

    Also provide the login details of the website we will restore the folder for you.

    It’s not just woocommerce. No emails, not from any plugins are sent. Appointment booking plugin, form submissions, native wordpress admin emails nothing works. So it’s not confined to woocommerce. Think there are too many people complaining this issue. But it’s simplified in t he form of woocommerce settings problem. I had been sitting with the server guys since a week now. They had gone through all their stuff but this is failing. :/
