In the theme settings we have a great feature called “Scroll top on variation select [mobile]”
However, I have to highlight that this feature has a downside. It’s relevant ONLY IF the selected variation has dedicated image(s). If the variation doesn’t have dedicated image(s), then there is absolutely no point in scrolling back to top, and therefore it creates confusion to the users like “Why have I been moved back to top if there’s nothing special to see at the top?”
To mitigate this problem, there are two ways :
1) Either providing us a way to enable this feature per categories of products
2) Alternatively add an extra setting so that the scroll back to top enabled on mobile occurs only if there is a WooCommerce variation image assigned.
