Error when uploading images

Hi,

I get an error when I try to upload images to http://www.whatawonderfulday.nl.

This is the error:

“Unable to create directory uploads/2021/10. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”

I contacted my server company and they said:

I have analyzed your application and it seems your theme Basel is causing this issue as some authentication is setup there. This is what I am seeing at backend: https://i.imgur.com/QMXDOXP.png. And when I have enabled the debug mode on I have seen permission issues on several locations where its now allowing to create folders. Here is a screenshot for the reference: https://i.imgur.com/oC7qC0x.png. I would recommend you to consult your theme developer to check this issue. Furthermore I have checked everything on server level. Like permissions etc. Tested with default wordpress permissions with different user’s ownerships but it didn’t resolve this. We are certain that the permission on server is totally fine. Please check with your theme provider.

Could you help me with this please?

Please make the full backup of your site and check the issue on the Storefront theme to detect if our theme causes the problem. Storefront is a free theme developed by WooСommerce.
