I have several new problems with the Basel 5.7 theme since this morning. When will the update be released?
By analyzing the MySQL bin logs, we’ve noticed extremely large MySQL query statements. The majority of these update statements are related to queries performed on the wp_options table for an option named “_transient_wc_layered_nav_counts_pa_couleur”, which appears to be linked to a custom plugin or some custom functionality/logic that was inefficiently coded.
Currently, the logs show 1-2 queries like this running every second, possibly due to the increased traffic from the Black Friday campaign. The real issue, however, is that each single query contains around 1.7 million text characters, which, when pasted into Microsoft Word, results in a document that is 327 pages long. We deactivated swatches on product grid. Too bad It’s an e-commerce site.
