    Hi there!

    I was updating the theme and core plugin and now we’re experiencing some Redirect errors on a specific URL. We have already tried the following:

    1. Reset and re-save URL & permalink settings
    2. deleting cache & cookies
    3. Reset .htaccess file
    4. deactivate plugins (except WooCommerce as it’s needed to display the category)
    5. re-store old plugins from backup

    None of the above seams to work and we still experience this error.

    The url was placed within an html block that served as our dropdown menu for shop. Once you clicked on the link, we got this error message; however you could navigate to the category via the normal shop menu without issues. As the site is live, we have replaced this link for now. However you can replicate this error by:

    1. opening the category via the shop menu and refreshing the page
    2. navigating to the english translation of the category (with WPML) and then changing the language to german (however the error only happens on the default language and also while having wpm deactivated)
    3. opening the link directly

    We had this issue before, however we could resolve it with the htaccess file & permanent link – this time it doesn’t work.

    Could you please check how it works with the default wordpress theme just to check whether the issue is with our theme or not.

    Hello,

    I have logged into your website and checked by activating the Storefront theme and the issue is still the same.

    Which clears that the issue is not from our theme. You can try activating the Storefront theme yourself.

    The issue seems to be from the woocommerce plugin as it is also occurring with the default wordpress theme.

    Please try asking the woocommerce support for help.
