Estimated Delivery Issues

Hi Aizaz, I am having issues with the estimated delivery functionality. A lot of our products are variable products and it seems it is using the parent product stock status to display the estimated delivery date but we can’t use it like that since we sell out on certain variations of products. My store has manage stock per variation enabled but the estimated date is not pulling data from the variation but from the parent product. Please check the private content.

Unfortunately, the Estimated Delivery feature does not support variation-level conditions. It works on the parent product level, so it will not dynamically change based on each selected variation’s stock or settings.

Any chance of changing that in the future?
I think it’s counter productive if it doesn’t work with variations. It should always use the preferred stock method either parent or variations.
is there a rule we can apply to display this message only on simple products then?
Hello,
You can limit the Estimated Delivery rule to only simple products.
Please edit your Estimate Delivery rule and, in the Estimate Delivery Condition section, add a condition with Condition Type: Product Type and choose Simple Product.

This way, the Estimated Delivery message will only be displayed for simple products and will not appear on variable products.
