Expandable text overflow

Dear Woodmart Support,

currently our expandable text is fully visible without clicking the button. Both the container has the expandable option set to true and also the button (as visible on the screenshots) – still the text is shown fully and overlaps with other elements on the site.

Its HTML blocks, testing inside the block only (viewing the HTML block) does work and the button is doing its job as is the text which is not fully visible. But once visiting the shop brand page its fully broken

Hi Aizaz, unfortunately its not that simple. I followed the guide (altough it was working already before), some of the collapsible text is working fine and some is still broken, the structure is the same and there seem no differences at all, could you verify via the staging site access I provided?

This one is broken and always was. Spent few days to get work properly. Guide from woodmart doesn’t say anything about how it should be done everything because if you follow this guide will never work how it should

Apologies for the delayed response; I was unwell but am now back.

Your issue has been solved. I have found that you have not used the Text block Widget of the Woodmart theme. You have used the Text editor widget of the default Elementor widget, which will not work with the theme settings or theme options available for the expandable text overflow. I have replaced the Text Editor widget with Woodmart Text Block widget https://ibb.co/67kpkR8V Now it is working fine.

Also, set the Collapsible content only for the outer container: https://ibb.co/LX0VKxXV
