Extend product info in product archive

    Hello,

    Hope you had a good weekend.
    I got a questions about the product archive.

    Is it possible to add extra information to the products that are displayed? I can enable, for example, the SKU, but is it also possible to add something else? Like a custom paragraph or an attribute? See: https://prnt.sc/fiiS9EQzScsV

    One other small question: is it possible to sort reviews from newest to oldest? See: https://prnt.sc/Tg4fVae0RfEx

    Hello,

    1- If you want to show an Attribute on the Product archive, something like shown in the following GIF: https://woodmart.xtemos.com/theme-settings-tooltips/grid-swatch-attribute-to-display.gif

    So, you can go to Dashboard > Theme Settings > Shop > Variable Products Attribute swatches > Grid swatch attribute to display > there you can select the Attribute that you want to show: https://i.snipboard.io/iVzCbf.jpg

    2- To show the Newest Comments first, please go to Dashboard > Settings > Discussion > there is a line there that reads “Comments should be displayed with the [Older] comments at the top of each page” – change the [Older] to [Newer]and hit “Save Changes” at the bottom of this settings page and you’ll have just reversed the order of your comments: https://i.snipboard.io/6wFn4V.jpg

    Thanks for helping me!

    In the meantime I have another question:

    1. Do you know why the product archive is sometimes showing me 9 products (https://leondesign.nl/webshop/), sometimes 10 (https://leondesign.nl/webshop/page/3/), while I have selected to show 12 products on the product grid?

    Hello,

    Sorry to hear about that but it usually doesn’t happen at the Theme end because we aren’t facing such an issue at our Test Site. Could you please disable all plugins that are not related to our Theme on your Site and then check back the issue again. If it gets resolved, then reactivate them one by one to see which Plugin is causing the conflict.

    If the issue still persists, then please provide us your Site WP-ADMIN access in the Private Content field on which you are facing the issue so we can check it and assist you accordingly.

    Okay thanks, I will look into this.

    In the meantime I have some other questions:

    1. For this product I can choose colors from the dropdown (https://prnt.sc/vJMnxsAPjEOV) like ‘Zwart’ https://leondesign.nl/webshop/leondeisgn-portemonnee-heren-leer/. But it is out of stock. Is it possible to hide / or grey out so people can’t select them anymore?

    2. Is it possible to add the price in the dropdown related to the varation over here: https://prnt.sc/jX_MdVa3EjjS

    3. Do you know why the variation price is not visible over here: https://prnt.sc/OMQATUjVylh3 (some products does have it)

    4. On iPhones: the dropdown for the submenu is not working: https://prnt.sc/dtL_K2ubXRSD (when opening the filters on this page: https://leondesign.nl/webshop/)

    Hello,

    1- Regarding the Disabled or Out of Stock Swatches style change, you can go to Dashboard > Products > Attributes > there edit the respective Attribute in which you want to change the style > in that you will find the Disabled swatch style > there select from the available ones: https://i.snipboard.io/8mtdhj.jpg

    2- Sorry but there is no option in Theme Settings available for that. It requires Customization and this is beyond our limitations and support policy scope. Hope you can understand our limitations.

    3- Regarding this concern, please once check under the Theme Settings > Shop > Variable Products > Price > you have enabled the Remove duplicate price for variable product or not > if it is enabled then try disabling it because it hides the Duplicate Price that shows below: https://i.snipboard.io/9ESyML.jpg

    4- It might be a Cache issue we suppose. Could you please once completely clear your browser and server cache and then check back the issue again.

    If the issue still persists, then could you please once try deactivating all the third party Plugins on your Site remaining the Theme required ones activated. If the issue gets resolved, then reactivate them one by one to see which Plugin is causing the issue.

    3. It was already disabled. The strange thing is that for some products the variable price is visible, while for others not.
    4. Okay. Is it working for you on iOS-devices? For us it still doesn’t…

    Hello,

    Firstly, your WoodMart Core plugin wasn’t updated to the latest version so we updated that. The latest version running is 1.0.35.

    Secondly, most of the issues on your Site are caused by a third party Plugin called “SiteGround Optimizer”. So, we have deactivated that and now the Swatches are appearing like they should. The Pagination works fine too and the Duplicate Price concern is also working fine now.

    Regarding the iOS concern, please check that again that might also be caused by this. So, please once completely clear your browser and server cache and then check back all your issues again.

    Hopefully, you won’t find them again.

    The duplicated price still seems to be an issue, but I will dive into it.

    Hello,

    There might be some Settings issue for those specific Products because as you said it is not appearing fine on some. So, once try recreating those Products first and then check back them again.

    Hopefully, the duplicate price concern will then get resolved too.
