Extremely slow Basel and Woocommerc

Thanks for the great theme, but it loads extremely slow. Over 25 sec on the homepage. Also check GTmetrix
Could you guys have a look and give some pointers what to fix?

Thank you for contacting us.

Firstly, please try to switch to standard WordPress theme and see how it will work. With standard theme server response have to be in a range 0.5s – 2s. If it is more (currently it is 24s) so you have some problems on your server side. But if it works fast with standard theme then please give us your admin access and FTP credentials so we could troubleshoot if there is some problem in our theme.

We use standard Google Chrome developer tools for this. Click right mouse button on the page -> Inspect -> Network -> Doc and reload or go to another page.

I had a server admin take a look at it. He configured something (magic?)
Now under 4 to 5 seconds to load.
