There seems to be some failing aspects of the theme from what I can see, if you check the private section I have linked to the gtmetrix and from the waterfall you can see that there are many aspects in red which are failing, they are xtemos, Woodmart and other font related failures, fonts etc.
Can you advise what I can change to prevent this please?

Be sure that you have correct domain settings in your WordPress dashboard and try to resave Theme Settings.
