Favicon does not stop on the website

Good afternoon, I’m having trouble getting the Favicon to stay on my client’s website, and I don’t know if this could be due to the theme, because the png image is in the right place and it doesn’t, the website is: https://bubag.com.br/

then I got this tutorial ( https://www.pioneerstrikes.com/fix-favicon-not-showing/ ) and what solves it (however temporarily it is the 4 method ( Fix Favicon Not Showing – Method 4: Update Theme Code ), but the code in <header.php>, I am inserting it from the main theme and not in the child which is the active one, because in the child theme there is no option <header.php> to insert the code, but it soon leaves the site again , I don’t know what to do…. how to solve this definitively?

Favicon can be changed under the Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Site Identity.
