I am using the WoodMart theme for my e-commerce store and I would like to add a new feature to my products. I want to implement a “Difficulty Level” attribute for all products and provide a way for customers to filter them based on this new attribute.
Specifically, I need assistance with the following:
Adding a “Difficulty Level” to Products: I need a custom field or attribute for each product where I can define its difficulty level (e.g., Easy, Medium, Hard, or a numerical scale from 1 to 5). This attribute should be displayed on the single product page, ideally within the “Product Features” or a similar section. It’s crucial that this can be easily managed from the WordPress admin panel.
Creating a “Difficulty Level” Filter: I want to create a new filter on the left-hand sidebar, similar to the existing filters for price, brand, and stock status. This new filter should allow customers to select and view products based on their “Difficulty Level.”
Could you please guide me on how to achieve this with the WoodMart theme? I would appreciate it if you could provide instructions, suggest a compatible plugin, or let me know if this requires custom coding and if it’s something your team can assist with.
