Filter by Product Category

I don’t see anyway to add a product filter category. I only see ways to add a filter by attribute.

This doesn’t do anything. I see that most of the filters are used below, in the “Shop filters” area, not “Shop page widget area”
Adding it in the shop page widget area does add it, but doesn’t allow selecting multiple categories at the same time, for example. Anyway to do that?

You can filter products by attribute only. When you add Product categories to a widget and choose the category you get to the category page. You can not select a few categories because WooCommerce does not provide the option.

In order to show a sidebar on the shop page navigate to Theme Settings > Shop >
Shop page layout
